Leading Executives to Advance in Philanthropy (LEAP) Cohort

About the Program

The Leading Executives to Advance in Philanthropy (LEAP) Cohort is a professional development program designed for fund development professionals seeking to grow both personally and professionally. Through a focus on philanthropy and fundraising strategies, participants will strengthen their skills while also developing leadership abilities through practical application.

Approach

The program offers comprehensive content on the principles of effective fund development, tailored specifically to the unique demands of the philanthropic sector.  In addition to core fundraising skills, LEAP emphasizes strategies for long-term success in the profession—such as donor stewardship, ethical fundraising practices, managing burnout, setting and maintaining realistic fundraising goals, and building resilient, mission-aligned careers. Participants will gain tools not only to excel in their current roles but also to sustain a meaningful, impactful career in fundraising over time.

The program will include two LEAP Think Tank Sessions where each participant will bring a challenge to the cohort and invited non-profit experts to devise a viable solution that will be executable within 30-90 days.

This application is due by June 15, 2026. All applicants will be notified of their participation in the program by June 30 and upon acceptance will pay the program fee.
